Outfield Shagger (10 needed per shift)
Outfield Shaggers enjoy being out in the sun, want the
chance to experience being on a minor league baseball field,
don't mind being on their feet, but don't need to be able to
catch or throw a ball! This might be a fun family activity to
do with your kids.
Collect balls in the outfield for a 3 to 4-hour shift (with breaks when needed)
Collect balls hit into the outfield and infield once they have landed and rolled to a stop
Carry or toss balls to a bucket by second base
Signal when a ball hits the outfield wall
Registration Worker (1-2 needed)
A Home Run Derby
Registration Worker is detail-oriented, loves paperwork and
checklists, and enjoys talking to people.
Sit at the registration table from approximately 8am to 1pm
Check in batters as they arrive at the stadium
Instruct batters on filling out various forms
Ensure all batters sign waivers
Team Leader (1-2 needed)
Good Team Leaders are friendly, assertive, not shy or
soft-spoken, able to corral excited participants and keep things
moving.
Stand on the sidelines by the dugout from approximately 8am to 1 or 2pm
Check in teams as they arrive on the field
